Turf Custom Applicator - AGRILAND FS - Indianola, IA Pro-Turf Services, serving lawn care and sports turf maintenance needs for customers in the Des Moines metro and surrounding areas, is looking for a high energy, self-starting individual with a strong work ethic to fill the role of turf care specialist.
This individual will actively apply turf products to lawns, maintain equipment, and assist the agronomy/energy location team during winter and off-season opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Apply dry and liquid turf products to customer lawnsDeliver lawn inputs to customersLearn to operate backpack sprayer, ride-on spreader/sprayer, lawn tractor for seeding, aeration equipment, spray equipment (up to 18' boom) and fork liftMaintain turf and agronomy equipmentIdentify turf pests and weed issues to communicate to the turf leadCommunicate both verbally and in writing with customers to ensure excellent service and help grow businessRequirements:
Excellent work ethic and demonstrated self-starting skillsGood map reading skills (knowledge of Des Moines metro area preferred) and strong math skillsGood driving record; pass a pre-employment drug testAbility to work overtime and on weekendsAbility to climb, crawl, reach and lift up to 75 poundsAbility to pass all certification tests, obtain a CDL (Company will assist in getting a CDL)Position Offers:
