1218 PURPOSE OF POSITION As the Manager of Heavy Equipment Rental and Used Sales, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our rental and used equipment business. This role requires a dynamic and results-driven individual who can effectively manage a quote to cash process, collaborate with a team, build impenetrable customer relationships, and drive sales growth. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. More specifically, the person will:
Leadership:
Establish processes to ensure a smooth and consistent operation. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Work with sales, customer service, operation and finance teams to ensure goals are met and customer satisfaction results in repeat sales opportunities. Sales and Business Development:
Develop and implement rental and used equipment sales strategies to achieve revenue and gross margin targets. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Volumetric Mixer industry. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and build a robust and loyal customer base. Manage used equipment websites and social media channels to ensure wide and deep outreach to customer base to achieve goals. Rental Operations:
Oversee the rental fleet management, ensuring equipment meets quality standards for rent, equipment availability meets market needs, exceeds agreed upon equipment utilization. Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to schedule routine inspections and repairs upon return of equipment. Develop and implement effective rental pricing strategies to maximize profitability based upon market developments. Used Equipment Sales:
Manage the inventory of used equipment, including sourcing, pricing, and marketing. Develop and implement strategies to promote and sell used equipment. Negotiate and finalize sales agreements, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process. Customer Service:
Ensure excellent customer service throughout the entire sales and rental process. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally. Work closely with the broader Cemen Tech team to enhance overall customer satisfaction. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.EDUCATION - EXPERIENCE - COMPUTER SKILLS Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or a related field (preferred). Proven experience in heavy equipment sales and rental management. Strong leadership and management skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Knowledge of heavy equipment, construction, and related industries. Results-oriented with a track record of achieving sales targets. Must either currently possess or have the ability to rapidly acquire CDL. Demonstrated computer skills including Microsoft office, ERP and CRM systems.
